About Llinos

My name is Llinos and I volunteer as a Researcher for Access-Air-bility. I have recently completed my Masters in Special Educational Needs and Disability (with Distinction) at the University of Chester and alongside my current role in higher education, I am hugely passionate about supporting the development of inclusive practices in society and education and I enjoy volunteering with various organisations and services to promote this.

My research and publications have been centered around the needs of children and young people within special education and my experiences of working with children, young people and adults of various needs and backgrounds have been greatly supported by my Postgraduate Certificate in Autism and my First-Class (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, both from the University of Chester. I have recently been awarded with the Susan M. Chance (St Peter’s, Saltley) Prize for Innovation in Education and I have been involved in supporting the conversation around promoting diversity and inclusion by completing case studies and webinar materials for various publishers and training institutions.

I really enjoy supporting and advocating for the needs of all to promote accessibility, engagement and inclusive experiences and I am excited to share and build upon this with Access-air-bility to improve the quality of inclusive practice within air travel, as well as to promote its importance and impact for all involved.
